Notice to SWC Membership of intent to spend +$5,000 not budgeted in this fiscal year. This is a 60 day notice as required by our bylaws.
It has been determined that any stove in the Clubhouse requires an exhaust hood with a fire suppression system. Currently the clubhouse has two - 4 burner, 30 in ranges. To provide a hood for both of these 2 ranges is not cost effective.
It has been determined we could have a more efficient and cost effective system if we used one 36in-6 burner range.
The board recommends the purchase of a 36in range at a cost of approximately $8,000.
A 48in hood is being installed to satisfy the Fire/Safety concerns and one of the existing ranges will be used until a suitable 36in range is selected.
